Six Strings / Six Guitars

Featuring James Burton, Martin Simpson, Richard Thompson, Nokie Edwards, Dennis Coffey and John Etheridge

If you love the guitar don't miss this extraordinary gathering of legends and masters. Hosted by Meltdown curator Richard Thompson, guests include country rock pioneer James Burton, who worked with Rick Nelson and Elvis Presley; Nokie Edwards, the groundbreaking picker of The Ventures; Dennis Coffey, legendary Motown player and member of The Funk Brothers; jazz rock great John Etheridge; and acoustic virtuoso Martin Simpson. Expect great music, stories, technical insights and jamming by six of the very best.

Joining these amazing guitarists are  bass legends Jerry Scheff and Danny Thompson, plus drummers Jay Bellerose and Debra Dobkin and special guest vocalist Christine Collester.

Opening the show are blues legends Beverly Guitar Watkins and Albert White.
